Marker composite for medical implants

A marker composite for medical implants made of a biocorrodible metallic material, comprises (wt.%): a carrier matrix (C1) (1-40) having a melting point of >=43[deg]C and containing triglycerides (>=90); and a radiopaque marker component (C2) (60-99), which is embedded in the carrier matrix. An independent claim is included for a medical implant, coated and/or filled with the marker composite made of biocorrodible metallic material (preferably magnesium alloy), comprising carrier matrix (C1), and radiopaque marker components (C2).
