A wheelchair, comprising right and left side-frames (2, 1) connected to each other through front and rear X-link devices for folding, a seat (18) disposed on the insides the right and left side-frames (2, 1) through a link device for lifting, a support member (19) stretched across pivot pins (14a, 15a) at the crossed parts of the front and rear X-links (14, 15), and an actuator (20) installed between the seat and the support member and lifting the seat. Levers (29, 30) connected, at their tips, to each other through a connection pin (28) are pivotally fitted to one or both of the front and rear X-links (14, 15) symmetrically bilaterally. A guide groove (31) engaged with the connection pin (28) is vertically formed in the support member (19). |
