<p>A display device is provided to realize high precision and high performance in a screen printing, a micro-printing, and an ink-jet, thereby lowering the manufacturing cost. An active matrix type display device comprises a plurality of signal lines(107'), a plurality of scanning lines(102'), and a plurality of pixels. The plurality of the signal lines are arranged at right angles to the plurality of the signal lines. The plurality of the pixels is surrounded by the signal lines and the scanning lines. Thin film transistors are arranged in each of the plurality of the pixels and the pixels are arranged with a matrix shape. The thin film transistor includes a substrate, a gate electrode(102), a gate insulating film, a source electrode(106) and a drain electrode(107), and a semiconductor layer(109). The semiconductor layer is laid across the plurality of the pixels, and is arranged with a linear shape in parallel to the signal line.</p> |
