A method for preparing an alcoholic beverage is provided to obtain the beverage with deodorizing function using a natural material such as Kalopanax pictus and Hovenia dulcis. A method for preparing an alcoholic beverage comprising an extract of Kalopanax pictus or Hovenia dulcis comprises the steps of: (a) roasting or steaming Kalopanax pictus or Hovenia dulcis cut into a certain size at a temperature of 250 deg.C for 2 hours; (b) adding the product obtained from the step(a) into alcohol, liquor or water and leaching it or ripening it in a wooden case made from Kalopanax pictus or Hovenia dulcis; (c) filtering the leachate; and (d) diluting the filtered leachate into a certain alcohol degree. The method further comprises a step of adding a food additive such as saccharide, organic acid, amino acid, salt and perfume to the product obtained from the step(d). |
