A finishing panel fixing system for the ceiling is provided to offer an open indoor atmosphere by heightening the indoor height of a building and to secure stability in or after construction by increasing stiffness. A finishing panel fixing system(50) for the ceiling, for maximizing the indoor height of a building and supplying an open indoor space, comprises an upper guide(52) fixed closely to a ceiling slab, and a fixing channel(54) coupled to the upper guide by a one touch type and fixed with a panel at the bottom, wherein the upper guide includes a ݘ-shaped guide body(55), many fixing holes(59) formed on the top(56) of the guide body to be fixed with a nut(57) and a bolt(58) buried under the ceiling slab and channel couplers(62) formed on the side(61) of the guide body to couple the fixing channel perpendicular to the guide body, the fixing channel includes a ÝÀ-shaped channel body(63) and coupling rims(64) formed on two sides of the top of the channel body, and the channel coupler includes inlets(66) formed on the side of the guide body and provided with an approach guide(65) inclined upward to insert the coupling rim of the fixing channel, and rim grooves(67) and hanging projections(68) formed on the upper part of the approach guide to keep the coupling rims not to be separated.
