Stent with a structure made of a biocorrodible metal substance

The stent has a structure with a support structure made of a set of web sections (10) connected with respect to each other. Each web section supports a vascular wall or preserves mechanical integrity of the stent for a predefinable period of time after expansion of the stent. Another set of web sections (12) that do not support the vascular wall or preserve the mechanical integrity of the stent, is directed to the former set. Electrode potential of the latter set is reduced by mechanical strain during or before the expansion, and is lower than that of the former set after the expansion.
