A cooling water temperature measuring device is provided to improve a cold starting performance by increasing a fuel amount at the time of cold starting, and allowing an ECU to operate normally when a cooling water temperature is increased over 50 degree. A cooling water temperature measuring device comprises a cooling water temperature sensor(1) sensing the temperature of cooling water, an ECU(2) receiving the temperature information from the cooling water sensor and controlling a fuel amount according to the temperature information, a sender(3) supplying an output voltage of the cooling water sensor to a cluster(4), and a resistor(5) connected between the cooling water sensor and an input terminal of the ECU. The voltage supplied to the ECU is slightly lower than the actual temperature information sensed by the cooling water sensor so that the fuel amount is compensated at the time of cold starting.
