A secure CD(Compact Disk)-recordable is provided to prevent unauthorized users from accessing a digital document and medium by authenticating a password, and prevent illegal copy of an electronic file by applying high level encryption to an electronic file. User digital contents stored to a secure CD-R are encoded or decoded by using software such as an encoding/decoding module, an automatic burning module, and an exclusive viewer stored in the same CD-R. A user registers a password when data is stored to the CD-R by using the software of the CD-R. The data is provided by receiving and authenticating the password registered to the data. The data is provided by checking expiration from a networked server when the user views the stored data after registering the expiration to the data stored to the CD-R.
