A COLORED PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION, PATTERNING METHOD THEREOF, COLOR FILTER AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE

A colored photosensitive resin composition, a method for forming a pattern by using the composition, a color filter using the composition, and a liquid crystal display device containing the color filter are provided to improve uniformity and smoothness and to reduce dropping stain. A colored photosensitive resin composition comprises a colorant; a binder polymer; a photopolymerizable compound; a photopolymerization initiator; a solvent; and 0.2 wt% or less of a surfactant having a molecular weight of 5,000-20,000. Preferably the binder polymer is an acrylic binder polymer having an unsaturated group; and the composition has a surface tension of 25 mN/m or less.
