A position determining unit for fixing an electronic component supply tape is provided to reduce overall splicing time by reducing the time for preparing an additional tool for stripping off a cover tape. A position determining unit body(210) is composed of a fixing part(211) and a striping part(212) to be integrated. A tape fixing part(230) is installed in the fixing part. A striping piece(220) is mounted on the striping part. The tape fixing part is installed on the upper surface of the fixing part, and includes a pair of first pins of a first pitch and a second fixing pin of a second pitch wherein the second fixing pin is separated from the first fixing pin with a predetermined distance.
