A marketplace type shopping portal system and a controlling method thereof are provided to clarify a goods information search target, reduce search time, and efficiently perform search by making a seller of a marketplace insert an ID into a goods information page of a seller shopping mall and register a URL(Uniform Resource Locator) of the goods information page to the marketplace. A database server(210) stores information for performing EC(Electronic Commerce) in the marketplace. An application server(220) collects the goods information with a dedicated marketplace search robot by using the ID inserted into the goods information page of the sellers and stores the goods information to the database server. An EC server(230) searches the goods information stored in the database server, and provides a payment, delivery, repayment, and return function for managing orders of searched goods. The database server includes a shopping mall information database(211) storing seller information, a goods information URL database(212) storing the URL of a goods information page stored in the shopping mall information database, and a goods information database(213) storing the goods information collected by connecting to the goods information page stored in the goods information URL database. |
