A method for making an image frame and the method for buying an image applying the image frame are provided to enable a user to easily make the image frame applying various effects to the composed image and including the composed image, and enable the user to change a digital image conveniently, quickly, and variously by selling the composed image when the user obtains the image with satisfying effect. A user logs in to an image frame generating module by connecting to an image frame making server through a maker PC(S100). The user selects a basic image for the image frame from a frame image database storing the image for the image frames(S110). The user sets an insertion area for inserting other images in the basic image(S120). A lattice typed grid is formed in the insertion area(S130). The user edits the grid by moving a crossing point of a grid lattice(S140). The basic image including the insertion area and corrected grid information is stored as the image frame(S150). The user sets a plurality of insertion areas for inserting a plurality of images.
