SLIDING TYPE PORTABLE TERMINAL

A sliding-type portable terminal is provided to prevent a sliding module from being exposed to the outside even though housings slide, and to engage slits with hooks formed on a sliding plate and a sliding guide, thereby maintaining a stable coupled state by suppressing movement between the housings as realizing a smooth sliding action. A sliding guide(201) is mounted on the first housing, and includes at least one slit(211) extended along a length direction. A sliding plate(202) is mounted on the second housing, and is combined to perform sliding motion as being confronted with the sliding guide(201). Hooks(221) slide within the slits(211) by being extended from the sliding plate(202). Guide grooves are extended side by side with the slits(211). Guide projections(229) slide within the guide grooves. The hooks(221) are extended to the inside of the first housing by passing through the slits(211), and sections thereof are bent to be confronted with an inner side of the sliding guide(201).
