A storm water retention system is provided to protect human life and property by reducing flood damage by heavy rain to the maximum. A storm water retention system comprises an impermeable membrane installed to the lowermost part of the excavated ground to keep storm water not to permeate the base and the side of the excavated ground, a second permeable layer(120) formed by graveling the top of the impermeable membrane, a storm water pipeline(130) with many perforations placed between the impermeable membrane and the top of the gravel and equipped with an outflow pipe(131) extended to the outside of the impermeable membrane to discharge storm water to the outside, a honeycomb permeable block(140) provided with a long hollow and formed on the top of the gravel, a filter member of permeable fibroid material formed on the top of the permeable block to keep gravel located on the top of the filter member not to enter the inside of the permeable block, a first permeable layer(160) formed on the top of the filter member to keep the filter member not to be exposed, and an air pipeline(170) with many perforations installed to the inside of the first permeable layer to exhaust the inside air to the outside. |
