<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radio communication system which does not need any wiring or battery for driving a measuring instrument. <P>SOLUTION: In the radio communication system, a physical quantity such as temperature or humidity measured by a measuring instrument is modulated by an electromagnetic wave of a predetermined frequency and sent into a metallic air-conditioning duct through an antenna provided to be protruded into the air-conditioning duct and an electromagnetic wave including information on the sent physical quantity is received by an air-conditioning control device. The air-conditioning control device sends the electromagnetic wave of the predetermined frequency to the measuring instrument by the air-conditioning duct and the measuring instrument receives and rectifies the electromagnetic wave, on the other hand. Obtained DC power is accumulated in a power accumulation unit and driving of the measuring instrument is controlled by the accumulated DC power. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
