PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing acrylic acid which enables to collect acrylic acid at a high collection efficiency and obtain a solution containing acrylic acid with high concentration. SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for producing (meth)acrylic acid comprising a process supplying a raw material for (meth)acrylic acid and gas containing oxygen in molecular state to a catalytic vapor-phase oxidation reactor to obtain a gas containing (meth)acrylic acid, and a process collecting the (meth)acrylic acid contained in the gas, and characterized by introducing the gas containing oxygen in molecular state to the reactor after removing water content contained in the gas. The embodiment of the invention reduces loss of the acrylic acid, and improves the collection efficiency by increasing the amount of waste water. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
