PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator capable of changing lighting states of a plurality of LEDs by opening a corresponding storage compartment door and the other storage compartment doors, and easily confirming the lighting state of each LED in executing a lighting confirmation mode of the LED in shipping inspection, even when the plurality of LEDs of various objective actions exist in the single storage compartment. SOLUTION: In this refrigerator provided with the LED 16 as a lighting means in the storage compartment 6, and the other LED 23 having lighting intensity of visible light lower than that of the LED in the same compartment, and further having the lighting confirmation mode of both LEDs in shipping inspection, the LED 16 as the lighting means is put on when the storage compartment door 10 is opened during the execution of the lighting confirmation mode in the shipping inspection, and further when the other storage compartment door 11 is opened from this state, the LED 16 for lighting the storage compartment is put off and the other LED 23 is put on.
