PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor mounting boss structure which inexpensively changes a height of the sensor mounting boss structure with respect to an exhaust system member, and adjusts and fixes a sensor mounting boss at a desired angle with respect to the exhaust system member. SOLUTION: The sensor mounting boss structure of an almost cylindrical shape is fixed to a collecting section 6 while facing a mounting hole 6c of the collecting section 6, and a sensing portion 10d side of an oxygen sensor 10 is inserted and fixed in the sensor mounting boss structure. The sensor mounting boss 9 is formed on an outer periphery with a reduced-diameter portion 9b which is reduced in diameter as it goes to a collecting section 6 side, and the outer periphery of the sensor mounting boss 9 and a corner of the collecting section 6 are fixed by welding X1 with the reduced-diameter portion 9 inserted in and contacted with the mounting hole 6c of the collecting section 6.
