PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preassembled reinforcing bar temporarily erecting jig which enables preassembled reinforcing bars such as welded reinforcing bars to be self-supported in a manner of ensuring the verticality of the bar, by mounting the preassembled reinforcing bars on a bearer arranged at an arbitrary location in a simple manner, and is quickly removable and repeatedly usable after the connection of the preassembled reinforcing bars to adjacent ones, and to provide a method of connecting the preassembled reinforcing bars by using the preassembled reinforcing bar temporarily erecting jig. SOLUTION: A representative structure of the preassembled reinforcing bar temporarily erecting jig is like a flat plate, and functions to vertically temporarily erect the preassembled reinforcing bars which are assembled by connecting a plurality of horizontal reinforcing bars to one another by vertical reinforcing bars like a parallel cross, on the reinforcing bearer having a recessed reinforcement mounting portion. The preassembled reinforcing bar temporarily erecting jig has fittings formed at right and left side surface, for being fit to the reinforcement mounting portion, and a recessed reinforcement pinching portion for pinching at least two horizontal reinforcing bars.
