STAINPROOF POLYESTER CONJUGATE MONOFILAMENT HAVING SHEATH-CORE STRUCTURE AND INDUSTRIAL WOVEN FABRIC

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stainproof polyester monofilament having excellent stainproof properties against gum pitch and sufficient strength, and useful as a component material of a woven fabric for papermachine, such as a papermaking wire and a papermaking dryer canvas. SOLUTION: The polyester monofilament having sheath-core structure comprises a core component and a sheath component both composed of a polyester. The sheath component contains 0.01-15.0 pts.wt. of 34-65C higher aliphatic monocarboxylic acid ester compound as a component except the polyester based on 100 pts.wt. of polyester, and the monofilament has a strength of≥5.5 cN/dtex.
