PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact optical pickup by reducing a protrusion of the optical pickup from an outer edge of an optical disk and to provide the optical disk device. SOLUTION: Elastic supporting members corresponding to an inner peripheral side of the optical disk and elastic supporting members corresponding to an outer peripheral side of the optical disk are asymmetrically disposed. The elastic supporting members 20b1 and 20b2 corresponding to the outer peripheral side of the optical disk and the elastic supporting members 20a1 and 20a2 corresponding to the inner peripheral side of the optical disk are disposed so as to be shifted on the front side and the rear side of a lens holding member 18, respectively.
