The present invention relates to an organic thin film transistor that includes an organic semiconductor layer containing an organic semiconductor substance having a functional group that can form a hydrogen bond, and a method of manufacturing the same. In the organic thin film transistor, a semiconductor substance having a functional group that can form a hydrogen bond is used as an organic semiconductor substance, thus improving a packing property due to maximized interaction between the molecules. Since an organic semiconductor layer is formed by using a solution process, manufacturing cost is reduced.
