Disclosed is a resin composition having high melting point and excellent heat resistance. Also disclosed is a resin composition which is excellent in melt stability and hydrolysis resistance. Specifically disclosed is a resin composition containing an aromatic polyester (component A) having a butylen e terephthalate skeleton as a main structural unit, and a polylactic acid (c omponent B) having a melting point of not less than 190~C. Also disclosed ar e a molded article obtained from such a resin composition and a method for p roducing such a resin composition.
