<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper money processor which can perform smooth paper money insertion operation by simplifying control operation at paper money insertion time of a shutter mechanism to be installed for illicit act prevention. <P>SOLUTION: The paper money processor 1 has; a paper money insertion slot; a paper money conveyance mechanism 8 which can convey the paper money inserted from the paper money insertion slot to the insertion direction; a paper money detection sensor 18 which detects the paper money inserted in the paper money insertion slot; a paper money reading means 20 which is installed in downstream of the paper money detection sensor 18 and reads the paper money conveyed by the paper money conveyance mechanism 8; a paper money identification means which identifies real or fake of the paper money read by the paper money reading means 20; and a shutter mechanism 50 which is installed in a paper money conveyance path between the paper money insertion slot and the paper money reading means 20, and driven to block the paper money insertion slot which is in an open state before inserting the paper money until the paper money inserted from the paper money insertion slot is identified as true paper money by the paper money identification means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
