METHOD FOR IDENTIFICATION OF KINKA-PORK BY POLYMORPHISM OF EDNRB (ENDOTHELIN RECEPTOR-TYPE B)

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for identifying Kinka-pork and a reagent for identifying Kinka-pork.

SOLUTION: The method for the identification of Kinka-pork detects the 344th polymorphism variation on a pig endothelin receptor-type B (EDNRB) gene. The identification of Kinka-pork can be carried out by using the presence of the polymorphism variation as an index. The method further is obtained with a mutant protein-encoding DNA for detecting the mutant protein, the mutant protein, an antibody recognizing the mutant protein and a reagent for the identification of Kinka-pork.
