PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus which finishes a repeated calculation at satisfactory speed while keeping an image quality of a restoration image in the image processing apparatus to conduct an image restoring processing to a degraded image by the repeated calculation.

SOLUTION: A first image restoration processing portion 35 calculates a reverse filter H-1based on a Fourier transform H of a degraded function h, multiplies the reverse filter H-1by a Fourier transform G of the degraded image g, and conducts a reverse Fourier transform of the result to generate a first restoration image f1 to the degraded image g. A second image restoration processing portion 36 generates a second restoration image f2 by using the repeated calculation on the basis of the first restoration image f1 and the degraded function h.
