PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easily installable automatically operable submerged pump which adjusts a preset water level, without moving an installation position of a water level detecting sensor. SOLUTION: The water level detecting sensor for detecting a water level is composed of water pressure sensors 28 and 29 recognizing the water level on the basis of a detected pressure value. The water pressure sensors 28 and 29 are composed of an upper water pressure sensor 28 and a lower water pressure sensor 29 separately arranged in the height direction. Atmospheric pressure and a tank inside water level H are determined based on the mutual relationship between a supposed pressure difference supposed from a height difference when both water pressure sensors 28 and 29 exist in the water and respective pressure values detected by the respective water pressure sensors 28 and 29.
