A method for regulating water level for each weight of laundry of a front loading washing machine is provided to reduce noise by minimizing drop when washing a small quantity of laundry. A method for regulating water level for each weight of laundry of a front loading washing machine comprises the steps: sensing weight of laundry in a drum(S1); and supplying water with different water levels in accordance with sensed weight of laundry(S3,S7,S10,S13). The sensed weight of laundry is classified with three levels(S2,S6,S9,S12).
