PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control driving of a driving wheel by detecting sand and adapting it to the sand. SOLUTION: When detecting that the driving wheel is being driven (step S1) and when detecting displacement of a driving wheel to downward (step S3 or step S6), the traveling way determination device determines that a traveling way of the vehicle is sand (step S4 or step S7). When determined as sand traveling, it controls an engine torque so that the driving torque of the driving wheel does not exceed a threshold set beforehand in order to prevent a slip of the driving wheel.
