PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drum type game machine capable of giving a sense of rhythmical play to a player without the lack of game balls in a sprocket-like rotary body in a game ball loading device. SOLUTION: The game ball loading device 50 includes a sprocket-like game ball conveyor and a game ball detection sensor for detecting game balls conveyed by the game ball conveyor. The game ball conveyor can receive only one game ball in the outer periphery, and has a plurality of groove-like recesses formed along the rotation axis at regular intervals in the circumferential direction. Game balls are conveyed by rotating the game ball conveyor, and are loaded by detecting the game balls by the game ball detection sensor. A control means of the game ball loading device rotates the rotary body of the game ball conveyor at a first rotation speed (S238) when the rotation is started, and shifts the speed to a second rotation speed (S234) faster than the first rotation speed thereafter.
