The sensor has a sensor module (11) having a particle sensor (12), turned away on module sides from each other, for collection a particle loading of the measuring gas, and a temperature sensor (13) for recording the temperature of the measuring gas. A module section (111) of the sensor module is surrounded by a protective pipe (14), and is exposed to the measuring gas. The pipe is so designed that the particle sensor and temperature sensor are loaded with aimed different incident-flow velocities and flowing-against volumes of the measuring gas.
