PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting system used during elevator maintenance work to ensure safe work without necessitating installation of a sensor and the lighting system per safety equipment in the maintenance work. SOLUTION: This lighting system is provided with sensor lights 14 attached detachably to the equipments 9, 10, 1 installed in a pit 6A of an elevator and on a car and in a machine room 2 to detect movement of an object in a predetermined area and turn on the lighting system and clip parts 15 for attaching the sensor lights 14 to equipment in main parts.
