<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a supercharger for suppressing sticking of a driving mechanism for driving a nozzle vane. <P>SOLUTION: In the supercharger including: a turbine impeller 21 rotated by an exhaust gas; housings 42, 46 for covering the turbine impeller 21; a plurality of nozzle vanes 71 provided at predetermined intervals around a rotation axis of the turbine impeller 21; and the driving mechanism 72, which is arranged in a setting space 8 formed between the housings 42, 46 and a casing 11, and which covers the housings 42, 46, for holding the nozzle vanes 71 so as to allow the vanes to tilt, the supercharger includes an isobar channel 100, which is connected to the inside of the housings 42, 46 and to the setting space 8, for balancing the pressure of the inside of the housings 42, 46 and the setting space 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
