<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of accurately estimating an adsorbed amount of impurities on a chemical filter. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system comprises an adsorber arranged on an air supply path to an air electrode of a fuel cell and including the chemical filter housed for adsorbing the impurities contained in air to itself, a measuring means for measuring an air amount per unit time which passes through the adsorber, a detection means for detecting a concentration of the impurities contained in the air before an amount of air, which is measured by the measuring means, enters the adsorber, an estimating means for estimating the amount of the impurities per unit time adsorbed to the chemical filter based on the amount of the air, the concentration of the impurities, and adsorption efficiency of the chemical filter, and an output control means for outputting an alarm when an accumulated value of the amount of the impurities exceeds a predetermined value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
