PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a V-type die changing apparatus, which is short in a die changing time to transfer dies before and after use to a die storage site or the like without providing a new transferring means for transferring the die between conveying trucks and a transferring means. SOLUTION: By providing two advancing and retreating rails 2a, 2b for a conveying trucks 3 for moving the truck back and forth from each standby position B1, B2 to the working position A on the front of a press 1, traverse rails 4 for a traversing truck 5 crossed with each advancing and retreating rail 2a, 2b and bringing the traversing truck 5 alongside the front side of the conveying truck 3 in which a pushing/pulling means 10 for getting a die holder 6 in and out of the press 1 is built in and transferring the die holder between the conveying trucks 3 and the traversing truck 5, the die holder 6 before and after use can be transferred to the die storage site with the V-type die changing apparatus which is short in the die changing time without providing the new transferring means for transferring the die holder 6 between the conveying trucks 3 and the traversing truck 5.
