PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flow regulating valve device which can increase a flow rate of water by a little operations of a handle, and further can prevent an involuntary operation of the handle to the large flow rate region in operating the handle. SOLUTION: In the flow regulating valve device 10 for increasing the flow rate of water by moving a valve body 18 by operating the handle 24, the flow rate is small according to the operation of the handle 24 and can be increased by operating the handle within the small flow rate region from a fully closed position to a flow rate changing position, but can be quickly increased by operating the handle within the large flow rate region beyond the flow rate changing position. Further, a lock button 48 is provided on the handle 24 so as to prevent the operation of the handle to the large flow rate region side at the flow rate changing position, and so as to operate the handle 24 to the large flow rate region side by the lock button 48.
