PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorber to be mounted in communication with a pressure chamber. SOLUTION: The shock absorber 10 has a cylindrical case 13 to be mounted with a rod 21 reciprocative in the axial direction. A piston 22 is mounted on the rod 21. A coil spring 26 applies spring force to the rod 21 in the direction of protruding the front end thereof from the front end of the cylindrical case 13. In the cylindrical case 13, an inside seal member 32 and an outside seal member 36 are provide for sealing liquid in a liquid storage chamber 15 formed inside and for sealing the flow of fluid from the front end side of the rod 21 into the cylindrical case 13, respectively. The fluid flowing from the outside to the inside of the outside seal member 36 is discharged from a discharge flow path to the outside. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
