The method involves storing a hose (2) in a measuring range, where the hose is surrounded partially or completely by an incompressible medium (5) in a measuring chamber (1). The medium is acted upon by a defined hose condition with a given pressure. The pressurization is maintained with respect to the volume of the measuring chamber. The pressure formed in the medium is determined by the additional measurement. The medium comprises an incompressible polymer material. An independent claim is also included for a device for pressure measurement in a hose.
