<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet transmission method to make it possible to continue communication without packet loss, even on the occurrence of trouble and congestion. <P>SOLUTION: When a stored sequence number stored in a sequence number storing device agrees with a sequence number of a packet which arrives in the most early time out of packets with the minimum sequence number of packets stored in a packet receiving buffer, while a receiving device outputs the packet; it increments the stored sequence number. When sequence numbers of remaining packets with the minimum sequence numbers out of stored packets in the packet receiving buffer is smaller than a stored sequence number stored in the sequence number storing device, the remaining packets are discarded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
