<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a turbo supercharger which has high efficiency in a wide area, and is applicable to a gasoline engine. <P>SOLUTION: The turbo supercharger comprises: a primary nozzle 53 and a secondary nozzle 54 conducting gas in a turbine scroll to a turbine wheel; and a rotary vane 80 constituting a flow passage area adjusting mechanism which adjusts a flow passage area of the secondary nozzle 54. The secondary nozzle 54 is constituted of a plurality of nozzle vanes 52.
