PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watertight connector having a housing with a hole for electric wire insertion, in which the end part of the electric wire and a terminal fitting crimped to the core wire of the end part are inserted and locked, and which has a filter capable of blocking passage of liquid and having breathability between the outer circumferential face of an insulating cover layer of the electric wire and the inner circumference face of the hole, interposed in the hole and stably held in the hole. SOLUTION: The terminal fitting 21 is provided with a seal member crimping part 25 at the rear end portion, and by this seal member crimping part 25, the outer circumference face of a small-diameter part 154 at the tip side portion of the filter 151 is crimped. The filter 151 secures ventilation between the inside and outside of the connector, at the same time, it is prevented from coming off the hole 33 since the filter 151 is crimped at the seal member crimping part 25 of the terminal fitting 21.
