PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coupling for a flexible hose which enables a flexible hose to be easily connected to a pipe by hand-tightening, and which can control a water leak. SOLUTION: The coupling 1 for the flexible hose is constituted by a nipple 2, a ring 4, and a collar 3. The nipple 2 has a taper 7. One end of the taper 7 is connected to the pipe, and the other end is inserted into the opening of the flexible hose. Then the ring 4 is screwed to a screw 8 for the ring which is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the nipple 2 closer to the pipe side than the taper 7, and has a ring protrusion 14 on the inner peripheral surface. The collar 3 is idle-fitted to the outer periphery of the tip of the flexible hose when the taper 7 of the nipple 2 is inserted into the flexible hose. The collar 3 is provided so that it can freely rotate independently of the ring 4, and makes an advancing movement by being brought into contact with the ring protrusion 14 of the ring 4 incident to the screwing and fastening of the ring 4 to the screw 8 for the ring.
