PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for mounting a step in a concrete skeleton wherein a step leg is fixed in a holder by hardening of glasswool and the degradation of the glasswool is reduced while a holder is not only mounted in concrete but also fixed with an adhesive so as to avoid water entering from outside and also to prevent the holder from slipping out of the concrete skeleton. SOLUTION: The method of mounting a step in the concrete skeleton is composed in such a way that the holder 5 is fitted into a mounting hole 6 drilled in the concrete skeleton 2 and the step leg 4 having an adhesive held at a step insertion portion is inserted into the holder for mounting the step to the concrete skeleton. Hereon, the tip end of the holder prevents the holder from slipping out at the time of mounting the holder while the outer circumference of the holder prevents water from entering into the holder from the outside. Also, a cap 9 of the glasswool is impregnated with the adhesive and an indented portion 3 formed on the step leg is engaged with the internal surface of the cap, so that the step is secured to the holder with the adhesive.
