PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rail fastening device capable of reducing labor of way maintenance work, by preventing damage of the rail fastening device by slipping-out and the movement of a pedestal, by checking the movement of the pedestal. SOLUTION: This rail fastening device has a spring clip 110 elastically pressing a rail R toward a concrete sleeper S, a shoulder 120 supporting the spring clip 110, a fastening bolt 130 fixing the shoulder 120 to the sleeper S, and the wedge-shape pedestal 140 arranged on the sleeper S and provided with an abutting surface 142 abutting on a rear part 124 of the shoulder 120. The rail fastening device 100 with a pedestal slipping-out preventive mechanism is constituted so that a stopper 150 is immovably installed on the abutting surface 142 of the pedestal 140, and checks the movement of the pedestal 140 by abutting on a side surface of the shoulder 120.
