COUPLING DEVICE FOR STRUCTURES BASED ON ALUMINIUM SECTIONS

The invention relates to a coupling device for structures based on aluminium sections. The device consists of a prismatic block (1) which is obtained by means of injection moulding. Holes (3) are provided between the upper and lower ends of the block for the passage of screws for attaching the block to a first section (2') to be joined, said screws being screwed into a rivet nuts duly attached to the first section (2'). The cross-section of the prismatic block (1) matches the lower cross-section of a second section (2) to be joined to the first section (2') and the side walls of the block are provided with transverse holes (7) which, when aligned with the holes in the second section (2), enable the passage of other screws for attaching the second section (2) to the prismatic block (1) and through same to the first section (2').
