A face-mounted display apparatus for a mixed reality environment is provided to synthesize information about an external image and an internal image device by a see-through function, thereby integrally controlling external actual information, artificial image information, and external artificial image information. A face-mounted display apparatus for a mixed reality environment comprises an external image processing unit(101), a user information extracting unit(102), an image generating unit(103), an image synthesizing unit(104), and an image outputting unit(105). The external image processing unit outputs a multiple external image signal synthesizing the actual image around a user and a single or plural artificially created surrounding 3D(Three-Dimensional) images. The user information extracting unit extracts the visual information of the user such as the position of the user, the position of eyes, the direction of use's sight, and a focal distance. The image generating unit generates a 3D image signal according to the extracted visual information about the user. The image synthesizing unit synchronizes and synthesizes the multiple external image signal and the 3D image signal according to the extracted visual information about the user. The image outputting unit outputs the synthesized image signal to the user. |
