PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device driving software installation program providing a device driver efficiently at a low cost in an easy-to-install manner. SOLUTION: A device driver installation program holding a device driver and setting software for setting the device driver, as a software package, transmits the software package attached to e-mail, to a transmission source of the e-mail upon receiving the e-mail through a network (steps S101-103). The device driver easily installed by the setting software forming the package can thereby be easily installed when a user needs while suppressing load to network traffic and a communication cost.
