PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display an originating telephone number and character information which are sent first, to a termination-side mobile phone, for example, which returns to a zone from outside the zone, by a single originating operation in which the character information is inputted and sent during origination of a mobile phone. SOLUTION: When a terminating MS 22 of an origination destination side is in an automatic answering phone actuated state, and an exchange 12 receives an origination request signal wherein character information from an originating MS 21 is set, the character information is set in a connection request signal for connecting the originating MS 21 to an automatic answering telephone center 14, and is transmitted to the center 14. The center 14 converts the character information in the connection request signal into an SMS signal and sends it to an SC 15. The SC 15 stores the character information converted into the SMS signal together with an originating telephone number, and distributes the character information and originating telephone number to the terminating MS 22 with an SMS signal when the terminating MS 22 enters a telephone call state.
