926,647. Laminates. RUHRCHEMIE A.G. Aug. 6, 1959 [Sept. 4, 1958], No. 26869/59. Class 140. Two sheet materials are bonded together by flame-spraying low-pressure polythene, chlorinated low-pressure polythene or sulphochlorinated low-pressure polythene on to one surface of each material and bringing the sprayed surfaces together under compression. The component sheet materials may be the same or different, and include metals, wood, leather, synthetic resins and textiles. Examples describe the bonding together of two iron plates, and of an iron plate and a sheet of polythene, with each of the above materials, of two sheets of polythene with low-pressure polythene and with chlorinated low-pressure polythene, and of jute fabric layers with chlorinated low-pressure polythene. |
