An electronic controlled suspension apparatus and a dive controlling method thereby are provided to ensure braking performance and ride quality of the vehicle. An electronic controlled suspension apparatus comprises a damper(31), a memory(50) storing the control amount generated from the deceleration of the vehicle, a detecting portion(10) for detecting the vehicle speed, and an electronic control unit(20) controlling the damping force of the damper. The damping force of the damper is controlled with the ECU by calculating the variation amount of deceleration by means of the detected vehicle speed, and then correcting the control amount resulted from the variation amount of deceleration, which is stored in the memory, when the calculated variation amount exceeds a predetermined level and maintains an occurring time of the variation amount for a predetermined period of time. |
